MindGoAway is a forum dedicated to ideas that don't exist anywhere in the real world — impossible inventions, fantastical places, creatures that evolution never imagined, and questions that have no Wikipedia page. If you can't find it on Google, it belongs here.
No. Anyone can browse the forum and read every post without signing in. However, to create a post, reply to others, or join a conversation, you'll need to register — it's free and takes less than a minute.
Head to the Forum page and click "New Post". Give your idea a title, choose a category, and write whatever's on your mind. There's no minimum length — a single sentence is as welcome as a thousand-word essay.
Anything that doesn't exist. Impossible machines, fictional ecosystems, undiscovered colours, alternative laws of physics, languages that haven't been invented, cities on planets we haven't found — if it can't be Googled, it belongs here.
Posts about real-world products, current events, or existing services are off-topic and may be removed.
No. A half-formed thought, a rough sketch of an idea, or a single "what if" question is completely valid. We believe half-formed ideas are often the most interesting ones. Don't wait until your idea feels "finished" — post it now and let the community build on it.
Yes. MindGoAway welcomes posts in any language. The community is global, and we encourage members to write in whichever language they're most comfortable with. Replies in a different language are also welcome.
Three simple rules:
1. Be curious, not cruel. Disagree with ideas, never with people. Criticism of an idea is welcome; personal attacks are not.
2. No spam or self-promotion. This includes advertisements, referral links, and repeated posting of the same content.
3. Keep it imaginative. Posts about real-world topics, news, or existing products are off-topic.
Posts that violate the rules will be removed without notice. Repeated offences will result in a formal warning, and further violations will lead to a permanent ban. We want this to be a safe and open space for imagination, and we take that seriously.
If you see a post that breaks the rules, use the report button to flag it for review.
Go to your profile page by clicking your name in the top right corner, then select "Edit Profile". From there you can update your username, avatar, bio, and notification preferences.
Click Log in, then select "Forgot password?" and enter the email address associated with your account. You'll receive a reset link within a few minutes. If it doesn't arrive, check your spam or junk folder.
Every post has a report button (flag icon) visible to logged-in members. Click it and select the reason — spam, offensive content, or off-topic. Our moderation team reviews all reports and will respond within 24 hours.
